Born 1982 in napier, raised and lived in the country until the age of 23 and now reside in the small rural community of Waipukurau. I work as a professional Artist and also a qualyfied and licenced Builder and Project Manager for a local Building company.

 

art has always been a big part of my life, largely self taught apart from obtaining 5th form certificate and 6th form burssery in art at Hastings Boys High School. in the early years alot of surport came from my family, especialy my Grandmother and Father who both had art in there blood.

 

I pull most of my inspiration from the mountains, bush and coast where I've grown up and spend most of my time Hunting, surfing, diving and fishing. I work with oils and acrylics on anything from the side of buildings to canvas, where I portray a realism impression of my experiences and passions in a wide range of subjects

 

I like to capture the actual essence or mood of a place or subject and have it come out through the canvas. Through teckneqes I have developed over years I am able to have painting's come to life as tho you could reach into the paintng and touch it or it reach out and get you.
